Pascoes Jewellers is looking for a Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our team.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to stand behind the counter and wait for the day to happen. We're looking for someone with initiative, personality and drive - someone who notices when a customer needs help, sees what needs doing and gets stuck in.

Your regular hours will be:

• Monday: 8:30am - 2:00pm
• Friday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
• Saturday: 8:30am - 6:00pm

You'll be working approximately 24 hours per week, including two of our key trading days.

What will you be doing?

At Pascoes, our customers come to us for everything from everyday purchases to gifts that mark some of life's biggest moments.

Your job is to make sure they have a great experience.

You'll welcome customers, understand what they're looking for, offer helpful advice and confidently guide them towards the right purchase. You'll also work alongside the wider team to achieve sales targets and KPIs, keep the store looking fantastic and make sure every customer receives the level of service Pascoes is known for.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is naturally personable and enjoys talking to people
• Delivers genuinely great customer service
• Has initiative and doesn't need to be told what to do next
• Is reliable, punctual and someone the team can count on
• Enjoys working towards sales targets and KPIs
• Brings energy, drive and a positive attitude
• Is a genuine team player

Retail or sales experience would certainly be useful, but attitude, reliability and your ability to connect with customers matter just as much.

You don't need to know everything about jewellery on day one. We'll help with that. What we can't teach quite so easily is personality, initiative and the desire to give every customer a great experience.
